We go there just to eat the pizza. We recommend the Ricotta and meatball pizza. It's delicious.

I really love the environment of Anthony's and I thoroughly enjoy the service and the food is always great. I wish they had some more variety.

Long wait on a weeknight but plenty of outside seating and cheap beer. Well worth the wait! The coal fired pizza was delicious (one tomato pie & one pepperoni) & the chicken w/ onions were also excellent. Great service. Clean establishment. Plenty of parking. If ever in the area again, I WILL stop in! This particular Anthony's has a great, well-earned reputation w/ the locals.

Great thin crust pizza and delicious sauce. I always order the traditional pizza (margherita style) and it has never disappointed me. This particular Anthony's usually has nice and fast service, which I appreciate. They offer good beer and wine specials some days out of the week and they have a nice bar area with TVs, in case you feel like watching a game. Now I only come for the Pizza, so I cannot comment on the rest of the menu. Bon Appetit.

My wife and I wanted pizza for dinner so of course we went to our favorite pizza place. I had the cauliflower personal pizza which is always amazing. My wife had the pepperoni pizza which she said was excellent. She also had some wings which from prior experience they are amazingly good. We also ordered our favorite beer Fuhgeddaboudit. It's specially brewed for them. It's a dark beer with a rich flavor and no bitter after taste. If you e never tried Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza you need to check it out.

Eggplant Marino is delish. You can order it as an appetizer, as a meal or as a pizza topping. And of course, you have to try their pizza. My favorite is the tomato and basil and I ask them to add the sauce. They have good prices on beer during happy hour.

  • Peter A.

Anthony's has some of the best pizza! It's thin and well done which is exactly how I like it. They even say that on a sign as you walk in. The chicken wings are covered in cooked onions. Salads great but I think its a bit pricey. I love the meatball pizza but my kids love pepperoni so we do half and half. I go to the Pembroke Pines sometimes but since finding the Miami Lakes location that is my preferred spot cause you walk right in, no waiting. The Pembroke Pines one is like every other restaurant in the Pines, always full.

OK, if you walk into a place called "Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza" and you don't order pizza, what's wrong with you? I came for the pizza. The only thing that didn't really feel right about this place was the ambience. Not that I'm complaining, it just didn't feel right to me. It just felt like a very upscale Chuck-E-Cheese-Sports Bar hybrid without the kitsch and the video games. The staff is dressed in solid black, the decor is black, the room is wide open with a bar to the right as you walk in, and there are televisions along the walls playing (at the time I was there) sports. Now, don't let any of that stop you from going in to check it out. This is my kind of pizza: Just a touch too salty, fresh toppings, and that thin New York style crust cooked to a perfected crispness.

  • Lissette C.

Philly Cheesesteak pizza, where have you been all my life? A bit pricey, but nonetheless obsessed with this pizza.

  • Albert P.

Pizza is good. Nothing to rave about. A little pricy. Would go again if it was cheaper

  • Monica M.

Delicious pizza. It's not for everyone but it's definitely for me. My all time favorite is DEFINITELY the Paul & Young Ron (spicy), only because I've been a fan of them since birth. Their salad is also extremely delicious!

    (5)
  • Jessica E.

My pizza was a little burnt, besides that the wings and service were great!

    (3)
  • Jay R.

Awesome food!! Had Paul and Young Ron's pie. Love it... I will be back.

    (5)
  • Alejandro G.

The crust is great!!!! The bar is nice.. But needs a more variety menu.

  • Christy D.

Saw Anthony's on the drive from the airport to the hotel. Decided to stop in and ordered a half and half pizza (fresh mozzarella and Eggplant). Oh my gosh it was DELICIOUS! If I'm ever back in the area this will be my go-to pizza place. Our server was excellent, super friendly, attentive and fast. Salad was also really yummy. Good selection of draft beers. Perfect pizza joint!!!

  • Jennifer D.

This pizza place definitely deserves 5 stars, it is so clean and has great service! I'm not much of a pizza fan, but this restaurant makes you love it. It's not greasy and it's absolutely delicious. I recommend the tomato basil, enjoy! I wish they had garlic rolls lol :/

    (4)
  • Frank R.

Pizza - 5 stars Servers were great too, and atmosphere was casual and lots of big TVs with sports. Price is too steep though. $30 for a small pizza, salad, and ice tea is about $5 too much.

    (4)
  • Cathrina F.

Pizza we ordered was terrible! Super thin crust which we didn't ask for and it was overdone and completely burnt. Bread sticks were stale and inedible! By far the worst experience I've ever had at an anthonys

    (1)
  • Violeta A.

The perfect pizza in every way from the crust to the taste. The prices are higher than average, there are no specials, but the pizza is worth every penny. The chicken wings are good too and the order comes with caramelized onions and foccaccia bread.

    (5)
  • B F.

Always a great pizza! The Young Paul and Ron pizza with hot peppers is soooo good! The house beer the "foo get about it" brewed by Funky Buddha brewery is great with any pizza. The staff is quick and friendly. Love this place!

    (4)
  • Gary A.

Go here w.wife all the time, great pizza & wings. Cheese bread takes as long as the pizza does so not really a good app but is really good if u aren't expecting it to arrive as an app.

  • Mounique M.

This place is amazing! Great food, wonderful service. A definite winner in my book. Everything is delicious here. My favorite is the lunch salad. There is nothing skimpy here!!!

    (5)
  • Christy G.

Love this place. It's our #1 spot to go in Miami lakes Restaurant wise. We usually order the eggplant Marino side, chicken wings, classic Italian salad, or mozzarella and tomato salad...and of course the pizza. Eggplant Marino is delicious and is my usual dish here. You can share it with one person & I usually do with my husband. Chicken wings are perfect...I've tried many chicken wings from other places and these are my favorite. Comes only baked in coal oven with caramelized onions & focaccia bread-no sauce, no need. Pizza is toasty and thin. Hey, I'm craving Anthony's now. I think I'm going there for dinner tonight.

    (5)
  • Yunarky H.

I order the cauliflower pizza thinking the crust was made out of cauliflower. It was not! I am trying to eat healthy and was super disappointed when I saw the pizza. HOWEVER..... This pizza was actually really good. It wasn't healthy in anyway but I didn't think I was going to like it. Try it some time.

  • Todd S.

I'm a regular here whenever I travel to Miami Lakes on business. Excellent pizza. The crust is very crispy. There's nothing bad I can say about this place. I also recommend the coal oven roasted chicken wings. When I was visiting back in September they were giving out free sample platters of the chicken to try. Wish they were doing that now! I also recommend the Egg Plant Marino if pizza is not your thing. I would imagine weekends are full but, I've only been here on week nights and it's easy to get in. The staff is very friendly, the decor is open, there are seven big screen TV's, and the place is very clean. What else can I say? Great food + great atmosphere + great staff = enjoyable night out. What e

    (4)
  • Christian R.

Great service. Great food. The wings, eggplant Marino , and tomato and mozzarella salad are among my tops here.

    (5)
  • J T.

In my book, any place that advertises "coal fired pizza" is worth a try and after sampling Anthony's, this notation stays intact. The pizza IS really good. I had my regular; peperoni and mushroom. The crust was charred (oh yeah), mushrooms were cooked perfectly (not soggy). I could have used a bit more sauce, but this is a minor and personal preference. Besides pizza, they have wings and other standards. The "Bucked of Meat Balls" is pretty creative. You know what was even better than the pizza? The service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Not only did the staff all have a great attitude, but they seemed to enjoy working together. This is a great example of what good service looks and feels like. Thanks Anthony's. Nice facility and an inviting bar too!

    (4)
  • Tina S.

Well deserved five stars. I take the family there regularly. We like the margarita or the plain pizza the best.its always good with a pitcher if beer. I try and go either fir a early or late dinner if you go during prime time expect to wait to be seated.

    (5)
  • Deal U.

As the name says this is more known for pizzas but during my visit unfortunately we didnt feel like having pizzas so we had sandwiches. We did start with their popular oven baked chicken wings. I think its a healthier version but not as good as the original. The roasted beef and the meatball sandwiches were good but nothing to brag about. I will definitely come back to try their pizza because it smelled and looked good!

    (3)
  • Tim S.

This place never fails good quality pizza just the way I like it not too thick and well done. I always try and go there during non-peak hours to avoid the wait.

    (4)
  • Pamela P.

You know when you go to a restaurant and you only like 1 single item on the menu? How do you rate it? I love the Italian tuna salad.... awesomest healthiest choice on the menu. Great for lunch or dinner. They have nice happy hour specials, not all locations have a full bar though. Service has always been good. I'm not crazy about the wings which are smothered in grilled onions... but I have not tried the pizza, update to follow next time I cheat.

    (3)
  • John K.

Way over rated. Maybe there is no real pizza in Florida. Bottom line, there were empty tables through out the restaurant on Saturday February 14 (valentines day) at 7 pm. No wait time has to tell you that this is not a great place. We ordered pizza with 4 extra toppings at $2 each. The outside two inches of the pizza had virtually no toppings when delivered. I had to combine the toppings from other slices to make a fully covered pizza slice. Sauce and cheese was minimal. Crust was neither crispy nor pan. Better than pizza hut, but not close to Chicago or New York style pizzas by any means.

    (3)
  • Chris P.

I would recommend the steak and cheese pizza and wings! They also have a decent selection of craft beers.

    (4)
  • Cuban B.

Really yummy. Visiting friends in the area and was craving a pizza. This place was nearby and after reading other reviews I decided to give them a try. Until now I have not been able to find a decent pizza in Florida. Pricey but worth it!

    (4)
  • Donna L.

Ok so WOW!!!!!! Amazing pizza! Fat, crispy, tasty! Iceeee cold Stella and one of the best pizzas I've ever had!!! My respect!

I had a mushroom pizza and I can say its definitely worth the price. I would recommend this place to others.

  • Juan S.

Anthony's is always delicious. I like this location in Miami Lakes. The restaurants chain-wide are always consistent and a fun place to go. Wings, pizza and salads are delicious. Service very friendly and atmosphere great too. Good place to watch a game.

  • Selene T.

I do not get it... Everyone seems to rave about this place. I've dined here twice, the first time I tried one of their specialty pies and the house salad. The second time we tried the traditional pie with mushrooms & onions and the tomato salad (caprese salad). And what can I say.... Cons: expensive (12" pies are $16) no fountain drinks, only 20 oz bottles $2.75 limited menu, no pastas or garlic bread Pros: thin crust The pizza is nothing to write home about. The service is slow and the place is very dark, even during the day. Kinda depressing. Needless to say, my search for good pizza in Miami is still on.

    (2)
  • Kayla P.

first place we tried when I first moved down and it's amazing! great service! the pizza is amazing and the wings are probably the best I've ever had. I didn't expect this place to be so good

    (5)
  • Katherine A.

The pizza here never disappoints. The problem is once you have one bite you can't stop. So I have not had pizza in over a month which is huge since its my favorite food. I have come here recently but have had other things. My bf and I decided to cheat on our diet and come to Anthony's for some good pizza. Have to say I left satisfied. I love their broccoli rabe with mushrooms. They cut garlic cloves in half and place them on the slices so when the pizza cooks it get a delicious garlicky flavor but not to overwhelming. The pizza is thin and crispy and has great chess which I think is what always makes or breaks a pizza. yum!

    (5)
  • Joe P.

ok Anthonys used to be my fav. pizza in south florida until they starting getting in-consistant with their pizzas. At times, I tasted the pizza too salty. Yes I love burnt pizza, but there it also needs to be accompanied with a good taste. I feel the original in ft. lauderdale and the one on pines and hiatus are the best locations. I get it too go ocasionally, but for some reason, tell the helper making the pies "LAY OFF THE SALT". I get it that the sauce needs to have some tingyness, but come on.

    (3)
  • Grisel L.

Pricey pizza but always yummy. We usually get the white pizza or the Paul & Young Ron with an order of wings. My only pet peeve is that they don't serve fountain soda, only bottled. Its the glutton in me that likes to know I can get a free refill...but aside from that it's a nice place for a Friday family dinner or take out..

    (4)
  • Daan K.

this place is definitely over-rated their pizza is good - not great for great crispy pizza - that is really amazing - try Andiamo's they have a good price point on everything but they are pretty arrogant about their food they have no sauces for their wings which are good - but all wings could use some kind of sauce the service was ok, and the food came out hot and pizza was definitely burnt as were the wings too much carbon in the food isn't good for u i did like making my own little dish combining the grilled onions with the meatballs and ricotta on pizza

  • Cristina G.

If you like thin crispy pizza then this place is perfect. We ordered a large pizza with onions. It was crispy, charred (not burnt), and yummy. They currently have a Peroni special on Mondays and Tuesdays which I liked. Pizza and beer...can't beat that. They were playing old classic music from the 50's-70's. I enjoyed this and was happy not to hear the cliche Italian music. Its an adult pizza place with a grown up feel inside.

Being that we live nearby we often do Anthony's for take out. We love the pizza and wings and will order from the lunch menu sometimes as well. Their Anthony's Special Sandwich with prosciutto, mozza, greens, and focaccia. We've ordered the calzone to change things up a bit and it's huge and delicious as well!

    (5)
  • Shawn J.

I was in town for business, and placed a "to go" order --paid $26 for a 12" and a salad. It was enough to feed 2 people! I ordered the Paul & Young Ron, and mozz and tomato salad....both very very good. the pie was baked to perfection and the salad was refreshing! If you are in town on business and looking for a great place in Miami Lakes, i recommend Anthony's!

This was my first time at this particular location. I had Anthony's before, but just take out from another location. On this particular night we were running kind of late for a birthday party. So we were looking for a place to get a quick bite. We went to the restaurant that is next to it and the had waiting list, and since it's was a little bit cold outside, we just walk over. The place was kind of empty for a Saturday night. They plenty of television which were showing the heat game. We had the Italian salad, which it was more that plenty for the two of us. We alao had the meatballs ( 2 ) with Ricotta Cheese which were really good and we also share the ten wings, which my wife loved, I did not particular care so much for then since they were a little burn and charred from the oven, which was the reason why my wife like then so much...I guess I have gotten spoil by eating from those places that offered grilled wigs but nevertheless I would order then again.. The service was also great and the price were reasonable, we were out of there in no time at all.

  • Maria S.

Never have had a bad experience here. Paul and young Ron pizza is awsome. The Gorgonzola cheese salad is great and beer is always cold. Service is awsome too. Nice to have such a great place close to home. Love this place :)

  • Melissa P.

Great Pizza and Service. The parking can be a pain but then again where is it not. The only thing that didn't really feel right about this place was the ambiance.

  • Cindy P.

WOW!!!! I'm about to use words that I've never ever used: THE BEST PIZZA I have ever had. Went on a slow Tuesday evening and there are signs all over letting you know the Pizza is well done. And NO people it's not BURNT!! Yelpers have raved about the wings and the Pizza so we knew exactly what to order. WINGS: I read a few reviews of ppl complaining there is no sauce??? Because there is no need for sauce. OMG the onions on this are sweet and tasty. The wings perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. No deep frying here....just yumminess over the coals. PIZZA: Disclaimer, not a fan of Ricotta BUT figured we had to go with the yelp reviews. It was seriously the most amazing pizza I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, sauce was spot on - not too much but not too little, the meatballs......WOW!!! I am getting hungry again. If you like heavy dough...this is not your kind of pizza. It's a little thin which leaves room for all the yumminess on the top. Found my new pizza joint. TV's all over the place - great spot to watch the games. Great Service as well. Food was so good that we joked that even the coke was the best we had ever had.

  • Gina P.

If you like burnt, over cooked pizza then I get the rave reviews. Me, I rather have the pizza at Chuck E Cheese than at this place. Severely disappointed. Coal Fired pizza can be good but this one is not. P.S. I've tried it a few times to give a chance and till this place I didn't think I'd ever find a pizza I didn't like....but now I have.

    (1)
  • J J.

Menu appears limited but there are salads not listed on the menu. The pizza is surprisingly good for a strip mall restaurant. Ambiance is a bit sparse and noisy with lots of TV's (not a fan of TVs in a restaurant). Service was just ok, if not a little slow.

    (4)
  • Mark H.

Awesome Cauliflower and Garlic Pizza! The oven was obviously perfectly hot. The Ribs and Wings were really good too. This place is REALLY good!!

This is my second time here. All of the wait staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is consistent. The salads are fresh, and the chicken wings perfectly done.

Anthonys never lets you down, great pizza and service! Try the Ron and Paul, wakes up your taste buds. Wine selection could be better but the Beer is always GREAT!

The pizza chain is a new addition in the area. The thin, crispy crust is good, if you're into that. We went for mid-week lunch so service was quick, nice, & the food was good. They have $1.50 Peronis Mon-Tues so we'll be back!

    (3)
  • Richard R.

Love the pizza here, as well as the Italian salad. They also make great sandwiches if you're not in the mood for pizza.

    (4)
  • Ana P.

I love their pizza! The crust is amazing. I love that slightly burnt taste. We were also pretty impressed with the beer selection! Try the Funky Buddha. It's pretty awesome!! We also shared an eggplant parmesan. It was cooked perfectly!! Anthony's always meets our expectations, and they're pretty consistent as far as their service and food. It's one of the few local places we love to frequent.

    (4)
  • Maria G.

I like this Anthony's very much, always consistent. I have tried other locations and they have not been as good. The service is always good too. Good selection of beers and wines.

Isn't there something about pizza but just draws people? Need to pull an all nighter to study with friends ? let's order pizza!!! We have a big presentation at work, let's get together and work on it, what do we eat? order pizza!!! If Anthony's would have been around when I was in college... man let me tell you, they would have made a killing off my friends and I. Let me tell you I come here often and the pizza never disappoints, I believe all there pizza's are simply amazing. The meatball and ricotta is just my favorite. It's an amazing pizza, soft yet firm coal fire crust, the meatballs have amazing flavor and that ricotta cheese, wow! When in doubt it's my go to Pizza. Their traditional pies are always a hit as well, my girlfriend likes to order the pepperoni, pepperoni pizza is usually greasy, not Anthony's it's one of the things I love about them. I like to mix it up a bit I usually order a prosciutto ham pizza with onions, The onions are sautéed which gives the pizza and excellent flavor the saltiness of the ham and the combination of the onions is to simply mouthwatering for me. With Coalfire pizza you can always run into troubles by burning the crust, it's a fair statement that they get the crust just about right almost all the time. Never burnt, always a tasty firm yet soft crust. When we're really hungry we order their grilled wings as an appetizer! Simply one of the best grilled wings I have had, the wings are grilled yet they're fall off the bone with great flavor and an amazing combination of spices. To top this they toss sautéed onions on top of the wings and sprinkle olive oil. The staff at this location is always very helpful, I would recommend that you call ahead or attempt to make a reservation if possible, on the weekends this location can get very busy and you can expect a long wait time outside, it's the one downside from this location. I've had to wait over an hour at times for a table, which has turned me off and since there is an Outback and King and I Sushi, in the same plaza i've opted for a faster dining experience. However you know what they say a packed location usually means the food is good.

I order a pizza with arugula side on a regular basis from the Weston location. It comes with a side of parmesan cheese and Italian vinaigrette, made with red wine vinegar, spices and olive oil. Instead we got a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar in one container and a tablespoon of olive oil in another for four pizzas. Really? Balsamic on arugula on a pizza is not the same. In fact , it's pretty awful and I love balsamic. No wonder the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night

  • Ricky C.

One of the best pizzas in Florida. They use the freshest ingredients and you can taste the difference from other pizzerias. Their prices are a little higher but everyone should treat themselves every once in a while to a fantastic pizza. Its a sports grille so bring friends and don't drink and drive. You can always order out and take it home. By the way, if you've never had fresh mozzarella try this pizza. You'll never want to go back to regular pizza cheese.

Never have had a bad experience here. Paul and young Ron pizza is awsome. The Gorgonzola cheese salad is great and beer is always cold. Service is awsome too. Nice to have such a great place close to home. Love this place :)

Great Pizza and Service. The parking can be a pain but then again where is it not. The only thing that didn't really feel right about this place was the ambiance.

  • J J.

Menu appears limited but there are salads not listed on the menu. The pizza is surprisingly good for a strip mall restaurant. Ambiance is a bit sparse and noisy with lots of TV's (not a fan of TVs in a restaurant). Service was just ok, if not a little slow.

  • Mylo G.

Love the pizza here, as well as the Italian salad. They also make great sandwiches if you're not in the mood for pizza.

this place is definitely over-rated their pizza is good - not great for great crispy pizza - that is really amazing - try Andiamo's they have a good price point on everything but they are pretty arrogant about their food they have no sauces for their wings which are good - but all wings could use some kind of sauce the service was ok, and the food came out hot and pizza was definitely burnt as were the wings too much carbon in the food isn't good for u i did like making my own little dish combining the grilled onions with the meatballs and ricotta on pizza

Great pizza, fast service and friendly staff. Anthony's has spoiled me and now I don't like pizza anywhere else.

Eggplant Marino is delish. You can order it as an appetizer, as a meal or as a pizza topping. And of course, you have to try their pizza. My favorite is the tomato and basil and I ask them to add the sauce. They have good prices on beer during happy hour.

Philly Cheesesteak pizza, where have you been all my life? A bit pricey, but nonetheless obsessed with this pizza.

Pizza is good. Nothing to rave about. A little pricy. Would go again if it was cheaper

What e

Great service. Great food. The wings, eggplant Marino , and tomato and mozzarella salad are among my tops here.

Well deserved five stars. I take the family there regularly. We like the margarita or the plain pizza the best.its always good with a pitcher if beer. I try and go either fir a early or late dinner if you go during prime time expect to wait to be seated.

We go there just to eat the pizza. We recommend the Ricotta and meatball pizza. It's delicious.

Pizza - 5 stars Servers were great too, and atmosphere was casual and lots of big TVs with sports. Price is too steep though. $30 for a small pizza, salad, and ice tea is about $5 too much.

Always a great pizza! The Young Paul and Ron pizza with hot peppers is soooo good! The house beer the "foo get about it" brewed by Funky Buddha brewery is great with any pizza. The staff is quick and friendly. Love this place!

Go here w.wife all the time, great pizza & wings. Cheese bread takes as long as the pizza does so not really a good app but is really good if u aren't expecting it to arrive as an app.

    (5)
  • Cathrina F.

Pizza we ordered was terrible! Super thin crust which we didn't ask for and it was overdone and completely burnt. Bread sticks were stale and inedible! By far the worst experience I've ever had at an anthonys

  • Violeta A.

The perfect pizza in every way from the crust to the taste. The prices are higher than average, there are no specials, but the pizza is worth every penny. The chicken wings are good too and the order comes with caramelized onions and foccaccia bread.

  • Chris P.

I would recommend the steak and cheese pizza and wings! They also have a decent selection of craft beers.

  • Tim S.

This place never fails good quality pizza just the way I like it not too thick and well done. I always try and go there during non-peak hours to avoid the wait.

Really yummy. Visiting friends in the area and was craving a pizza. This place was nearby and after reading other reviews I decided to give them a try. Until now I have not been able to find a decent pizza in Florida. Pricey but worth it!

  • Kayla P.

first place we tried when I first moved down and it's amazing! great service! the pizza is amazing and the wings are probably the best I've ever had. I didn't expect this place to be so good
